Leon Reisinger

Leon R. Reisinger, 74, of Fargo, ND, died on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at Medcenter One in Bismarck, ND. Leon Raymond Reisinger was born at Swanville, Minnesota, to John and Bertha (Zimmerman) Reisinger on April 4, 1933. He grew up on the family farm near Upsala, MN, and attended school, graduating high school, from Upsala. Leon continued his education in California. He served in the US. Army from 1952-60. He lived in California and learned the construction trade. He moved to Fargo and worked for Twin City Construction as a supervisor. Leon farmed in Upsala, from 1978 – 1981, and also at Gwinner, ND. He married Beverly Terry on July 7, 1978, in Fargo, ND. They moved to Fargo. Beverly died in 2002. Leon went to work for Gene Hoepfner Construction until retirement. He also managed Anda Apartments for many years. He loved woodworking, flower gardening and baseball, especially the Minnesota Twins. Leon is survived by two daughters, Wanda (Dave) Thorson, West Fargo, ND; and Linda (Ron) Moran, West Fargo, ND; a brother, Edwin Reisinger, Kenwood, CA; and four sisters, Jeanette (George) Green, Long Prairie, MN; Mildred (Harvey) Ohnstad, Argusville, ND; Mary Jane (Jerome) Stich, Burtrum, MN; Kathleen Janzen, Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, Amanda, Tyrel, Ryan and Jamey; a great-grandaughter, Avery. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly; and a brother, Dell. Funeral Service: Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at 2:00 PM, at Plymouth Congregational Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Tuesday, November 13, 2007, from 5-7 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Prayer Service: Tuesday, at 7 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: Argusville Cemetery, Argusville, ND.
