Lee Jay Johnson, 50, of Fargo, died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Sanford Health, Fargo, after a brief illness.
Lee Jay was born Nov. 1, 1967, to Jack, Jr. and Carol Lynne (Neudeck) Johnson in Dickinson, ND. He was followed a few minutes later by his twin brother, Loren Coe.
Lee graduated from Dickinson High School in 1986. He was in the North Dakota National Guard from 1985 to 1991.
Lee was a Direct Support Professional at CHI-Friendship for almost 30 years and added a second job at Fraser for the last 10 years. The people he worked for and the staff he worked with were like a second family to him. Lee was an avid sports fan. He took the people he worked for to Bison games, Twins games and Vikings games. He also helped people go to their families for holidays, birthdays, weddings.
Lee is survived by his sisters, LuAnn (Mike) Casler, Williston; Carol, Dickinson; his niece and nephews, Mark Casler, Williston; Katy (Tyler) Spiekermeier, Fargo; Thomas (Ciara) Casler and their son, Cameron; and aunts, Collene (Bill) Bares, Detroit Lakes, MN; and Noel Nichols, Dickinson; numerous cousins. He is also survived by friends too numerous to mention here, but you know who you are!
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lynne; brothers Loren and Corey; grandparents Jacob and FayEtta Johnson and Coe and Emma Neudeck and numerous aunts and uncles.
