Kristi Jean Larson was born April 1, 1969 to Arden and Myrna (Wurl) Larson in Fargo, ND. She passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2016.
She attended parochial and public schools in Fargo, ND and graduated from Fargo North High School in 1987 and Moorhead State University in 1992. After graduation, she moved to St. Paul, MN and worked in the medical field. In 1996 following the birth of her daughter, Rachel, she moved back to Fargo where she continued her employment.
In February 2009, Kristi had emergency surgery at the University of Minnesota for a brain tumor. She subsequently suffered a stroke. This event forever changed her life, but following extensive rehabilitation and a strong will, she regained her independence.
Kristi will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. She adored her daughter, and her two dogs, Bailey and Benny. Despite living with chronic health issues, she enjoyed movies, eating out, walking her dogs, and spending time with her family.
Kristi is survived by her daughter, Rachel Larson, Bozeman, Mt; mother, Myrna Larson; step-father, Richard Anderson; brothers, Steve (Dena) Larson, Fargo, and Michael Larson, New Jersey, and her aunts, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arden, and her grandparents, Rienhart and Myrtle Wurl and Willie and Emma Larson.
