Kevin Paul Donabauer

Kevin Donabauer, 62 of Harwood, ND, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Kevin Paul Donabauer was born on March 15, 1951, in St. Cloud, MN to Valentine and Lou Ann (Schwieters) Donabauer. He married Ruth Wittrock on May 8, 1971 in St. Augusta, MN. Together they made their home in Clearwater, MN, raising their 4 children. In 1990, they moved to Harwood, ND.

He worked as a carman for BNSF railroad for most of his life, as well as at the Sartell, MN paper mill for seven years.

Kevin enjoyed working on and rebuilding cars and lawn mowers; going to the races, car shows, the lake cabin and spending time with his family.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ruth; children, Brad (Suzi) Donabauer, Moorhead, MN; Tracy Erdman, Davenport, ND; Jamie (Brandt) Johnson, Barnesville, MN; Becky (Travis) Swenson, Fargo, ND; 11 grandchildren, Ryan, Brady and Carter Donabauer; Courtney and Rileigh Hulbert, Sawyer, Sadie and Charlie Erdman; Kyle and Kieran Johnson; and Carson Swenson; siblings, Mary Jo (Dean) Klaverkamp, St. Augusta, MN; Terri (Jerry) Marquette, Clear Lake, MN; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randy Donabauer.
