Kermit E Jensen was called home to heaven at the age of 86 on Saturday, January 8, 2022.

Kermit was born and raised in the Borup, MN, area on the family farm. He was the youngest of 9 siblings. Kermit spent time on the farm and enjoyed playing high school basketball. He graduated from Borup High School and shortly thereafter enlisted in the Army. He served 2 years in the Army during the Korean War as a postal clerk. After active duty, he joined the Guard. He moved to Fargo and was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years. Kermit married Marilyn in 1984. The two of them enjoyed visiting with family, coffee time, challenging games of cribbage, and spent many hours talking the days away.

Kermit is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marilyn; his 4 children, Ken (Trish), Goodyear, AZ; Carol, Johnston, IA; Keith (Kari), East Grand Forks, MN; Christy (Garrett), Chandler, AZ; Marilyn’s 3 children, Julie (Paul), Saint Peter MN; David (Kristen) Fargo, ND; Barb (Jay), Edwards, CA; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Leona. Kermit was proceeded in death by his parents, Jens and Olena, brothers; Art, Joe, Maynard, Alvin, and sisters; Murreen, Lillie, and Myrtle.

A private family service will be held.
