Kermit Gronland

Kermit Clifford Gronland passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at his home with his daughter at his side and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Kermit was born on April 30, 1919 and graduated from Fargo High School, after which he enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed in the Great Lakes. After returning home he married Dorothy Gronland and went to work for and retired from Knight Printing Company. Kermit is survived by his daughter, Barbara Gronland Schultz, Fargo and son Larry Gronland, Destin, FL; sister, Marilyn Swanson and brother, Don Gronland both of Fargo; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and his son, Mark Gronland. Memorial Service: Friday, May 14, 2010, 2:00 PM at First Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND.
