Kenneth Alen Pfaff was born December 11, 1953 in Kellogg, Idaho to Floyd and Betty (Andersen) Pfaff. Ken received his GED and a Certificate in Culinary Arts.
Ken married Sue Nelson. He enjoyed hunting, most of all in the badlands with the gang, camping and softball. He especially loved watching his daughter Brandi play hockey. Ken also had a profound love for music.
Ken worked at the Clark station for his father. Following that, he worked at RJ Nicklay Cabinets. He started his own business with good friend Joel Torstveit in 1976. He ended his successful career in cabinetry with Wood Specialists when he retired.
Brandi and her dad had a very special, very strong loving bond that could not be broken by anything or anyone. They were two peas in a pod, very much alike; so much alike that when an argument ended, she simply said, “you’re my world dad”, and he responded, “no Brandi, you’re my world”.
Ken died unexpectedly in his home in Fargo on April 6, 2019. He was 65.
Ken is survived by his wife, Sue Pfaff; daughters, Brandi (Mike) Pfaff and Amy Werner; grandchildren, Kayla, Taylor, Carter, Thomas and Andrew; brothers, Don Pfaff and Randy Pfaff; nieces, Angie, Nicole and Jessica; nephews, David and Jordan and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Betty Pfaff and Faye Pfaff.
