Keith Ronavin Berlin

Keith Ronavin Berlin, age 85, Fargo, ND, entered his Heavenly home on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Keith was born April 16, 1932, in Walcott, ND, to Jacob and Hazel (Helgeson) Oye. As a young child, he was adopted by Albert and Lucretia (Bean) Berlin and grew up and attended schools in Mohall, ND.

Keith served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. After military service, Keith worked for Border States Paving and several local construction companies as a heavy equipment operator. Keith thoroughly enjoyed his evenings out playing pool, bingo, and dancing. He was a brilliant, witty man with a heart-of-gold and big smile. Known for his abundant love, generosity, sense of humor, strength, and kindness, he will be loved forever and greatly missed by family and friends.

Keith is survived by his wife, Jeannine (Gienger) Berlin, Fargo, ND; children, LaVonna (Duffy) Powell, Gary Berlin, Cheryl (Brad) Evenson, Michael Berlin, Kevin (Rochelle) Berlin, and David Berlin, Fargo, ND; daughter-in-law, Patricia (Berlin) Muck, Fargo, ND; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; step children, James (Debra) Gienger, West Fargo, ND, Rosemary (Wayne) Fuller, Littleton, CO, Angie (Terry) Hylla, Moorhead, MN, Laure (Randy) Huschka, Hope, ND, and Paula (John) DeRouin, Dover, MN; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Oye, Fargo, ND; and foster sister, Betty (Lloyd) Welch, East Grand Forks, MN.

Keith was preceded in death by his first wife, Marlyce (Strand) Berlin; children, Douglas Berlin and Kent Berlin; brothers, Laverne Oye, Robert Oye, Hubert Oye, Darrell Oye, Loren Oye, and twin brother Kenneth Berlin.
