Kathleen D. Kvaale, 63, of Fargo, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Sanford Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND. Kathleen was born September 26, 1948 in Fargo to Ralph and Fern (Hills) Erdahl. She grew up in Fargo and graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1966. She attended Moorhead Sate University for two years. Kathy worked at the ND Air National Guard for a few years and Gold Label feed for three years before going to work for Northwestern Bell which became Qwest as a customer service supervisor until retiring in 1991. She wrote a book titled “Shedding a Little Light on Multiple Sclerosis”. She loved music, old movies, and television. She had MS for thirty years but always maintained her sense of humor. She is survived by her special friend and partner, Roger Lizotte; father, Ralph Erdahl, Fargo, ND; two daughters, Tracy (Ross) Bieger, Perham, MN and Alecia (Blaine) Zieman, Fargo, ND; brothers, Gary (Ann) Erdahl, Fargo, ND, Dale Erdahl, Fargo, ND and Russell Erdahl, Minneapolis, MN and three grandchildren, Elsa, Jonah and Peyton. She was preceded in death by her mother. Memorials preferred to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Funeral: Wednesday, May 16, 2012, 2:00 PM at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
