Karen Kay Logan

In loving memory of Karen Kay Logan. Karen was born on February 22, 1950, to Margaret Bobby and Edwin Kirschenmann in Ipswich, SD. A compassionate labor and delivery nurse, she dedicated her 73 years to bringing comfort and care to others. Karen's love for travel enriched her experiences, creating cherished memories. On October 11, 2023, she peacefully passed at her home.

Karen is survived by her sons, Jonathan Bertsch (Cassandra) and Erik Hendrickson; and her grandchildren, Kolton and Lucas Bertsch. Karen was married to Dwight Bertsch, Ronald Hendrickson, and Richard Logan; weaving a tapestry of love and companionship throughout her life. She is also survived by her siblings, Betty Lutz, Emil Kirschenmann, Donald Kirschenmann, Ann Hodgman, and Richard Kautz; 10 nieces and nephews, and her ex-husband and dear friend Richard Logan. Karen was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Dwight Bertsch and Ronald Hendrickson; son, Paul Eric; and brother, Kirby Kirschenmann. May her legacy of kindness and healing be a source of comfort and inspiration for all who knew her.
