Julius Henry Hanson Jr.

Julius Hanson Jr., 70, of Fargo, ND, died on November 11, 2021 at Sanford Broadway Medical Center in Fargo.

Julius Henry Hanson was born November 6, 1951 to Julius Sr. and Shirley (Eidsvoog) Hanson in Fargo, ND. He went to school in Fargo where he earned his GED. As a young man, Julius earned his black belt in Tai Kwon Do. In 1974, Julius began working at Steiger Tractor (JI Case) where he worked until his retirement in 2017. Julius was a proud union member throughout his career.

Julius enjoyed riding his motorcycle, driving his Corvette, traveling to see friends and family around the United States, having coffee with friends, playing Bingo, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Julius is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Daniel) Johnson and grandson Quentin; daughter, Cailin (Sean) Hanson and grandchildren, Ricardo and Nevaeh; sisters, Diane (Gordon) Harrum, Polly Bakko; brother, Duane Hanson; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who were just like family to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Shirley Hanson; brother, Roger; granddaughter, Amelia; and numerous friends who were family.
