Joyce Lewis

Joyce A. Lewis, 70, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at Innovis Hospital, Fargo, ND. Joyce was born May 22, 1936 in Devils Lake, ND, to Syver and Myrtle (Elverud) Paulson. On December 4, 1953, she married E. Wayne Lewis in Moorhead, MN. After E. Wayne returned from the military, they made their home in Fargo, where they raised their four daughters. Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother and family was important to her. She is survived by four daughters, Joanne (Richard) Brustad, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Cindy Ulland, Fargo, ND; Sandra (Jay) Warner, West Fargo, ND; Suzanne Lewis, Waterbury, CT; grandchildren, Aric and Brandon Warner, Jessica Brustad, Chad Ulland, Megan Warner, Jennifer Ulland, Matthew and Kristen Brustad; and one great-grandchild, Alison Warner. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents and husband. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Riverside Cemetery or Hospice of the Red River Valley. Memorial Service: Saturday, January 20, 2007, at 10 AM, at Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
