Joyce Gasing

Joyce L. Gasing, 67, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at Eventide Living Center, Moorhead, MN. Joyce Louise McCaughey was born June 11, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of O.L. “Mac” and Helynne (Bates) McCaughey. She graduated from Balboa High School in Balboa, Panama. Joyce married Robert Roche II in 1958 and Sam Gasing in 1964. She lived in Panama, Utah and Arizona. She worked as Branch Manager for the IRS for a total of 29 years, 12 of those in Fargo. She retired in 1989. She was a former member of Gethsemane Episcopal Cathedral and volunteered as a Big Sister. She was also a former member of the Panama Canal Zone Association. Joyce is survived by her children, daughters, Gregg (Rick) Eberhart, West Fargo, ND; Jackie Gruber, Charlotte, NC; Tracy Dillon, Fargo, ND; son, Mark Gasing, Perly, MN; four grandchildren, Stefanie, Kirby, Alex and Brandon Plante. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Sharon Powers. Funeral Service: Friday, December 7, 2007, at 1:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Chapel, Fargo, ND.
