This kind hearted, gentle man loved hockey and would spend every extra minute as a child at the Clara Barton ice rink. His other passions were fishing and hunting. Michael was a member of the varsity tennis team at Fargo South High School and graduated in 1997. He moved to Bottineau, ND to attend Dakota College-Bottineau and went on to receive his degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management from South Dakota State University. Following graduation, he moved to Williston, ND where he worked for ND Fish and Wildlife followed by many years as Foreman for Black Hills Trucking. This allowed him to spend his free time enjoying the outdoors that he loved so much. He recently moved back to Fargo to be closer to family and friends.
Michael is survived by his parents, Mark and Connie Weed of Fargo; brother, Ryan Weed of Moorhead; sister, Kati (Brad) Hruby of Sioux Falls, SD; nieces, Olivia, Lauren, Meredith and Hanna Hruby; the love of his life, Jami Hagen and her children, Collin, Cameron, and Mea; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
