John Paul Gwyther, 75, of Fargo, ND, died on September 9, 2021, at his home in Fargo.
John was born on May 30, 1946, to John E. Gwyther and Audrey (Haugen) Gwyther. He was raised in Fargo and graduated high school from Fargo Central High in 1964. John served in the military during the Vietnam War with the 1st Cavalry Division and the Artillery US Army.
After attending NDSU for some time John went on to work as a cross country trucker. He held his private pilot's license and took a special interest in nature and the natural world. He loved all animals and would feed peanuts to the squirrels in his yard on a daily basis. Another one of Johns favorite hobbies included keeping and caring for his houseplants.
John is survived by his sister, Marjorie (Gwyther) Gendreau of Fargo, North Dakota, along with two nephews and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
