Joel A. Berge, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the age of 25.
Joel Andrew Berge was born March 18, 1988 to John and Nancy (Kohls) Berge in Fargo. He was raised in Fargo, and graduated from Fargo North High School in 2006. He worked as a finish and framing carpenter for several years. He enjoyed swimming, handball, and golf, and was proud of his “hole-in-one” at El Zagal Golf Course when he was 10.
Joel is survived by his parents; brother, Nathan Berge; grandmother, Marcella Kohls, Clinton, MN; aunts and uncles, Steve (Lisa) Kohls, Brainerd, MN; Robert (Margaret) Berge, New Hope, MN; Paul Berge, New London, MN; Charles Berge, Indian Wells, CA; Jim (Linda) Berge, Alexandria, MN; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Silas and Lois Berge; and Milton Kohls.
A private memorial service will be held.
