Joanne M. Wonderlich

Joanne Marie Geraghty was born November 12, 1931 in Spokane, Washington to Hugh and Pauline (Davis) Geraghty.

She moved to Fargo as a child and graduated from Fargo Central. Joanne attended Interstate Business College. She married Arthur Wonderlich on January 15, 1955 in Fargo. They raised their three children in Moorhead, MN where Joanne worked for the Moorhead School District and Concordia College. She later became a mail carrier in Phoenix, AZ as well as a driving instructor for the postal service in Phoenix.

Joanne died Monday, January 22 at Bethany on 42nd Retirement Community in Fargo. She was 86.

Joanne is survived by her children, Stephen (Karen) Wonderlich, Fargo, ND; Lori (Nathan) Kemling, Waterloo, IL; Scott (Karen) Wonderlich, Little Falls, MN; eight grandchildren: Sara, Anna, Joe, Jared, Jesse, Jordan, Autumn, and Forest and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur; brother, Wally Geraghty and sister, Linda Thompson.
