Joanne Marie Wenzel

JoAnne Marie Wenzel was born November 15, 1935 in Austin, MN to LeRoy and Ina Guyette. JoAnne grew up in Austin, MN where she met and married Warren Wenzel, September 10, 1955.
JoAnne and Warren moved multiple times during their marriage ending up in Fargo in 1976. They raised three children together.
JoAnne worked at Moorhead State University in the Business Office until retirement. In her retirement she enjoyed spending the summers at the lake, quilting, gardening, reading, sewing, and volunteering at Heirlooms Thrift Store.
JoAnne passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2021 at the age of 85 years old.
She is survived by children, Julie (Jim) Knutson, Fargo, Steve (Kriston) Wenzel, Fargo, and Diane (Brian) Ross, Federal Way, WA.; six grandchildren – Thomas and Randy Knutson, Matthew and Benjamin Wenzel and Gabriel and Grayce Ross. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren.
