On Tuesday, September 8, 2020, Jim Frost, loving husband, father, and community volunteer, passed away at the age of 60 due to complications from a motorcycle accident.
Jim was born on January 21st, 1960 in Minneapolis, MN. He was adopted by Harvey and Marlene Frost. He met his wife Kathy in college, and they married December 19, 1981. They raised two children, Anna and Johnathan. Jim embodied the spirit of Santa Claus by listening to others and surprising those he loved with gifts. His drive to give led him to make hats and scarves for children and adults both. Jim’s unique style often started conversations, and his quick puns and jovial spirit made him welcome wherever he went. His love of giving to others was only surpassed by his love of his family.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held outside Faith United Methodist Church at 11am on Friday, Sept. 18, 2020 with a visitation one hour prior. Social distancing and masks are encouraged, with a small capacity maintained during the service.
