Jill Helene Nerat

Jill Nerat, 63, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Jill Helene Heggeness was born October 26, 1952 to Harold and Doris (Brunsvold) Heggeness in Rosemount, Minnesota. She was raised in north Fargo, and graduated from Fargo North High School.

Jill married Richard Nerat on November 11, 1984 in Fargo, ND. They raised their three children in Fargo where they made their home. Her kindred spirit brightened the lives of everyone she met. She will forever be missed. She enjoyed arts and crafts, but most importantly spending time with her family.

Jill is survived by her husband, Richard; children, Richard “Luke” (Morgan) Nerat, Sophie Nerat, and Parker (Whitney) Nerat, all of Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Chloe Nerat and Nolan Nerat; and siblings, Joan (Ken) Week, Jim (Sandy) Heggeness, and Jerry (Valerie) Heggeness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Henry Nerat.
