Jerry Mastroianna

Jerry S. Mastroianna, Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Jerry was born January 24, 1919 to Joseph and Carmella (DeBello) Mastroianna in Denver, CO where he was raised until he joined the Navy and served during World War II. After the war, he married Helen Norstebon and made his home in Fargo where they raised their family. He worked for NSP until he retired in 1981. He was an active member of the VFW and American Legion and First Lutheran Church. He especially enjoyed the years working at the American Legion Toy Shop during his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Helen; sons David (Jane) of St. Cloud, MN; Stuart (Ollie) of San Pedro, CA; and Joel (Janell) of Fargo, ND; grandsons, Mark (Jasmine) of Sartell, MN; and James of Minneapolis, MN; and Great Granddaughter Jaselle of Sartell, MN.
