Jerome Melvin Dahl

Jerome Melvin Dahl, 69, of Fergus Falls, MN passed away on May 9, 2017 at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.
Jerome was born October 8, 1947 in Crosby, ND to Melvin and Adeline Dahl. He was the third youngest of seven children. Jerome grew up in the western part of North Dakota and went to school in Flaxton, ND. Jerome moved to Fargo, ND in 1989 and lived there until he moved to Fergus Falls, MN in 2017.
Jerome worked in the oil field for several years in the late 70’s and early 80’s. He then went on to drive truck for several years after until he started having health issues and could not drive anymore. Jerome’s hobbies were fishing and camping, but his biggest joys were his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his sisters, Faith (James) Martinson of Fargo, ND; Rose Kalabza of Fargo, ND; Susie (Layne) Sigloh of Williston, ND; and his children, Kelly (Shannon) Olson of Fargo, ND; Rebecca (Daron) Deplazes of Fargo, ND; Michelle Dahl of Wahpeton, ND; Dale Dahl of Fergus Falls, MN and two stepchildren, Iona (Bobby) Keesee of Ashland, KY and Jude Hanson of Fergus Falls, MN; 20 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and friends that loved him and will miss him dearly.
Jerome is preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Olson and second wife, Eugenia McCartney; his parents, Melvin and Adeline; brother, Darrell Dahl; sisters, Rita Corbett, Jeanette Erdahl, Juanita Hanson, and a great-grandchild, Caleb.
