Jeffrey John Young

Jeffrey J. Young, 45, of Fargo, ND, died on October 16, 2023. He was born on November 21, 1977, in Duluth, MN, to parents Jeffrey & Kerrie Young. Jeff lived his early years in Duluth, Thief River Falls, and primarily Fargo, ND, where he lived until his death. He was a graduate of Fargo South High School and earned a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Mary. He had successful careers for several years with Microsoft and, most recently, Dell Technologies, working in sales. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends, pheasant hunting, duck hunting, and fishing. The annual fall boy's weekends at "The Shack" with dad, the uncles, cousins, and friends. Travel, concerts, and, of course, watching his favorite Golden Gophers, MN Vikings, and MN Wild. His bright smile and big laugh will be sorely missed by all that knew him. Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John & Katherine (Kay) Young; and maternal grandparents, Richard and Diane Maki. He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey Young of Fargo, Kerrie Maki of Phoenix; sisters, Kristie Young of Fargo, Kathielee Young (Ted Trolson) of Minneapolis, Megan Young (Charles Tillman) of Barnum; beloved niece and nephews, Karlee, Davidson, and Haakon; best friends, Caleb Hoag, Matt Kneip, and Brian Stark. As well as uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
