Jeanette Louise Baron

November 9, 1945 — September 14, 2023

Jeanette Louise Baron, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 77. She was born on November 9, 1945, in Fargo, ND, to William and Louise (Feltus) Hampson.

Jeanette dedicated her time primarily to raising her two children, Lisa Shaw Tracie Haynes. Her heart swelled with joy when she became a grandmother, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. In their eyes, she was a beacon of love and kindness.

Born and raised in Fargo, Jeanette developed a deep appreciation for nature. She derived great pleasure from watching the yellow finches outside her patio, finding solace and beauty in their presence. Jeanette enjoyed playing pull-tabs and her handheld poker game during her leisure time.

Food was one of Jeanette's greatest joys, and she had a particular fondness for fried chicken. She relished her trips to Deadwood and Dakota Magic Casino, where she experienced moments of excitement and laughter with loved ones by her side. In her younger years, Jeanette was a participant in sports, gracefully gliding on ice skates and in softball games.

Jeanette delighted in sharing meals and playing cards with her sister and brother-in-law, Mavis and Ben.

Jeanette is survived by her daughters, Tracie (Delane) Haynes, Osage, WY and Lisa Shaw, Newcastle, WY; siblings, Richard Hampson, Fargo, ND; Mavis (Bennie) Brown, Fargo, ND; Kenneth Feltus; Gordy Hampson, Dilworth, MN; her beloved grandchildren, McKaylia (Justin) Stevenson, Brett (Angel) Haynes, Justin (Anna) Shaw, Troy (Brianne) Shaw; and great-grandchildren, Tealah, Westin, Rowan, Gemma-Ann, Jackson, Emma, Hudson, Anson-Lynn, Laramie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Baron; parents; siblings, Sharon Hampson, Delores Moen, Gerald Hampson, Bill Hampson, and Susan Hampson.

In keeping with Jeanette's wishes, she will be cremated, allowing her spirit to forever soar among the yellow finches she cherished.

Jeanette Louise Baron will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she find eternal peace.
