Jean Marie Moser, 75, Fargo, died on Monday, March 4, 2024 in Sanford Hospital.
Daughter of Ernest and Helen (Lorenz) Moser of Medina, ND. Jean was born September 12, 1948 in Jamestown, ND.
Jean attended school in Medina until 1966 when she moved to Grand Forks to attend the Opportunity Training Program. In 1978, Jean moved to Fargo to attend the Evaluation and Training Center. She lived at Fraser Hall for two years before becoming part of Community Living Services in 1980, which she was part of until she moved to Saint Catherine Nursing Home in 2022.
When Jean first moved to Fargo, she worked at Fargo Coin and Laundry before settling into a job in the kitchen at Fargo Sacred Heart Convent, where Jean worked for many years under the guidance of Friendship INC.
Jean was a joy for all who knew her. She had a positive outlook on life that was infectious. She always had a funny joke to share, and her laugh was one of the best. She loved wrestling, the NDSU Bison, Fargo Redhawks, Minnesota Vikings, and the Twins. During baseball season, Jeannie and her sister Sherry had a rivalry going as Sherry was a Yankees fan, but they both enjoyed this special time between them. Jeannie and her other sister, Linda, were both Vikings fans, and when Linda was visiting Jeannie, they would watch the Vikings. Both Jeannie and Linda were quick to point out the ref's errors {Lol}; football season was a time they enjoyed together, amongst others. Jean enjoyed listing to a variety of music, especially Elvis and songs from the 70's. She had a special place in her heart for her cat, Pebbles.
She is survived by her sisters, Linda Moser-Eicholtz, Mandan, ND, Sherry (Cliff) Meadows, Medina, ND; nephews, Ryan Eicholtz (Amanda), Mandan, ND, Russ Eicholtz (Krysta), Fargo, ND; nieces, Hope Swaisgood (Karl), Moorhead, MN, Shannon Ford (Jeremy), Medina, ND, Dawn Salinas (Eldroy), Medina, ND.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donald Moser and Kenneth Moser, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
