Jean Albertson

Jean Albertson, 91, of Fargo, ND, passed to her Lord on December 20, 2017 after winning some remarkable battles, but losing the war to cancer. Her wish was that the energizer bunny would recharge her battery at the end so she could say good-bye to all her dear friends.
Jean was born December 30, 1925 in Hancock, MN to Frank and Ella (Johnson) Taplin. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, married Sam Albertson, and settled in Fargo in 1953. Jean loved dogs and walked dogs charitably and dog-sat for many people until she was 87.
Jean is survived by her two children, Scott Albertson and Lori Ayres and five grandchildren.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 4:00pm, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church, Fargo, ND (after the Bison Game “Go Bison”, another Jean favorite).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Homeward Animal Shelter, First Presbyterian Church, or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
