Jay A. Thompson, 47, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, February 27, 2012, at Sanford Health, Fargo. Jay Allen Thompson was born December 28, 1964, in Fargo, North Dakota, son of Julian and Corinne (Shardelle) Thompson. He had two sisters and two brothers. He loved to hunt, fish and play games with his nephew. Jay had a kind heart. He was always willing to help other people that needed it. His friends loved him, always did things for him and he would always repay them somehow. But he had everyone looking out for him. No matter if he got mad at you or not, he was always there. Jay was one of kind and he will be missed by everyone. He also liked to play darts. He was proud of his trophies from playing in tournaments. But most of all, he loved all his nieces and nephews all the same. Jay was a brother, uncle, brother-in-law and a dear friend to everyone. I don’t think anyone knew Jay but himself. He never gave up on anything. He kept going and going. He reminded us of the energy bunny that just keeps going and going. He made me tired just watching him doing things he always loved to do. Jay always had an eye for the girls. Anywhere Jay went, someone knew him. There is not enough time to write them all down. It would take me weeks to get everything. But, Jay if you are listening, thank you for everything and we will always love you no matter what. “Always Here Never Forgotten” Love, Your baby sister, Dana Funeral Service: Friday, March 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM, at Maple-Sheyenne Lutheran Church, Harwood, ND.
