Janice Budworth, 73, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Villa Maria, Fargo, ND. Janice Irene Johnson was born January 16, 1938 in Hope, ND, to Jalmer and Elsie (Lockwood) Johnson. She grew up in Hope and attended schools there. She graduated from Hope High School in 1956. After high school, she went on to nursing school, where she received her LPN. She worked at Group Health Hospital from 1973-1974 and Stevens Memorial Hospital from 1974-1979, both in Seattle, WA. Due to medical reasons, she discontinued her nursing career. She went on to receive a certificate in data processing and worked at CX Corp., also in Seattle, WA, before moving back to Fargo several years ago. Janice was married in 1957 to Arthur Granger. They later divorced and she married Calvin Budworth in 1975. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. Janice is survived by her children, Arthur Granger, Jr. and Nancy Davis; grandchildren, McKenna and Maya Davis, all of Washington state; a brother, Robert Johnson, Las Vegas, NV; and sister, Marilyn (Knud) Ronde, Hope, ND; nieces, nephews and her extended family, Pam Miller and her daughters, Presley and Mikaela. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Shirley Moon, Catherine Kohn and Marjorie Johnson; brothers, Philip and Leslie Johnson. Memorial service: Sunday, April 3, 2011, 2:00 PM at One Oak Place, Fargo, ND.
