Janette is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Sally Joan, and her brother Bob. Terry Wipf, Bismarck, North Dakota; and Randal (Kathy) Wipf, Jupiter Farms, Florida; as well as nine grandchildren, three grandchildren-in-law, and six great-grandchildren.
She was a CNA for Lutheran Hospitals and Homes, and worked for several years at Rosewood on Broadway, where she lived for the last seven and a half years. An accomplished vocalist, Janette often sang for weddings, and was active in the Fargo Chapter of Sweet Adelines International (now A Cappella Express). She is also an avid supporter of NDSU Bison football and basketball and F-M RedHawks baseball.
In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage donations to Operation Christmas Child.
