James Solberg

James Edwin Solberg, 47, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, June 4, 2010, at his home. James Edwin Solberg was born to Archie and Loretta Solberg, June 16, 1962, in Fargo, ND. He graduated from Wishek High School in 1980. James attended college at North Dakota State School of Science and Minnesota State University-Moorhead. James was employed at Eide Helmke and Can Am Express of Fargo, before opening up FM Tax and Payroll. James enjoyed the outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting and spending time at the lake. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins fan. He loved to bowl, play darts, softball and play cards. James also enjoyed listening to all types of music that inspired him as well as others throughout his life. He is survived by his children, Mitch (Amanda), Amy (fiancé, Kyle) and Chris (fiancé Carissa); as well as his mother, Loretta; brothers, Scott (Michelle) and Mike (fiancé, Michelle); his sister, Debbie; and four grandchildren, Lexi, Konner, Devin and baby Solberg. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie C. Solberg in 2007. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at 2:00 PM, at Hope Lutheran Church – South – Fargo, ND. Social gathering to follow at church.
