James Russell Liedahl

James R. Liedahl, 91, passed away February 11, 2016.
The family moved to California for employment in the defense industry early in WWII.
Enlisting in the Army in 1943, James served with the American Infantry Division throughout the Philippines and occupation of Japan, being discharged in December 1945.
He returned home to farm in the Leonard area and married Harriet in 1955.
They moved to Moorhead, MN in 1967 and he was employed for 20 years as an Agronomy Technician at North Dakota State University.
James is preceded in death by Harriet and Gary Liedahl and is survived by his son, Bryan, grandson, Daniel and granddaughter, Laura; Son, Kevin and wife Cynthia, grandsons, Carson and Parker.
