James Henry Haugrud

James Henry Haugrud, 64, of Hickson, ND, passed away Wednesday, November 13th, 2013. He was born March 16th, 1949 to E. Clifford and Ellen Haugrud in Fargo, ND.

He graduated from Fargo North High School in 1967. He attended North Dakota State University in 1969, graduated from North Dakota State Insurance Board 1975, as well as from Interstate Business College 1982.

He married Linda Lusk in Fargo and later married Margaret "Peggy" Wigdahl-Cotney in 1985 in Fargo.

Jim was a self-employed salesman for many years. He was a master craftsman and enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and motorcycling, but most importantly spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy, two sons, David (Kim) Cotney and Jamie (Paulette) Cotney, and five grandchildren; Chelsey, Taylor, Cassidy, Madison, and Ashley Cotney, all of Fargo, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Deborah.
