Iva L. Sunderland, 95, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, September 14, 2012 at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo.
Iva Luella Hanson was born on November 26, 1916 to Henry and Alma Hanson at Cooperstown, ND. On November 24, 1937, she married R.D. “Bob” Sunderland in Grand Forks, ND.
Iva is survived by three children, Don (Phyllis); David (Marlys), both of Fargo, ND; and Tom (Diane), Phoenix, AZ; son-in-law, Jim Kempel, Fargo, ND; two sisters, Helen Ratliff and Carol Matson, both of Kent, WA; sister-in-law, Kathleen McMerty, Moorhead, MN; four grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; and special friend, Jeane McKay.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; daughter, Kay Kempel and brothers, Douglas, Philip and Harlan Hanson.
