Inga L. Johnson, 94 of Fargo, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Inga was born May 10, 1916 to John and Christine (Lokken) Morken in Christine, ND. She attended County School Eagle #5 and Christine Public High School. After high school she worked for local farm families. She married Emil Johnson on April 8, 1937 and they lived in West Fargo. They wintered in California with their daughter, Judy. Inga’s most important job was being a mother and homemaker who showed her love through sewing, baking, and gardening. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was very nurturing, and enjoyed caring for all people. She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Michael) Curry, Amapola Lake Forest, CA; grandchildren, Jason (Tina) Kneitel, Kira (Kevin) Ballinger, Erin (Ali) Curry and Chelsea Curry; three great-grandchildren, Brody, Ronin and Owen; siblings, Floyd Morken, Breckenridge, MN, Hilda Vogeler, rural Wahpeton and Erma (Charles) Hendrickson, Moorhead, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Johnson; parents, and siblings, Joseph, Orvin, Carl, Waldo Morken, and Carrie Baier. Memorial Service: Wednesday, November 24, 2010, 1:00 PM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Monday, November 22, 2010 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.
