Inez M. Meyer

Inez Marguerite Meyer passed away April 18, 2013, at age 99. She was born September 26, 1913 to Raymond and Agnes Wilkinson in Chester, MT. She moved to Fargo as a child and married her high school sweetheart, Frank William Meyer in 1934.

She was a nurse and worked at Fargo St. John’s Hospital, for Dr. Kulland in West Fargo, ND and retired from West Fargo Public Schools.

Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, two sisters, her husband and one daughter, Carolyn Marie Korb.

Survivors include Richard (Jo) Meyer of Gainesville, TX, Barbara (Gerry) Kimzey of Kalispell, MT, Frances Sabbe of Fayetteville, AR, Raymond “Pete” (Darlene) Meyer of Harwood, ND, son-in-law Robert (Janice) Korb of Great Falls, MT, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She treasured cross-country auto trips with Frank to visit family and reading the Fargo Forum every day. The family appreciates the care she received at Villa Maria in Fargo and the love and friendship she shared with her roommate, June Johnson. She was a member of Fargo Seventh Day Adventist Church.
