Hillard A. Johnson, 88, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Villa Maria, Fargo. Hillard Alvin Johnson was born August 31, 1922, in Binford, North Dakota, son of Helmer and Alfrida (Susag) Johnson. He married Joyce Erlandson October 23, 1955, in Binford, North Dakota. Hillard is survived by his wife, Joyce, Fargo, ND; children, Jeff (RuthAnn) Johnson, Grand Forks, ND; Rich (Julie) Johnson, Arvada, CO; Valerie (Butch) Buchanan; and Rob (Traci) Johnson, all of Fargo, ND; siblings, Johnnie Johnson, Everett, WA; Walter (Vi) Johnson, Port Angeles, WA; Eleanor Ramsey, Cooperstown, ND; Levi (Hazel) Johnson, Fergus Falls, MN; Mencer (Bev) Johnson, Aitkin, MN; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and three brothers. Funeral Service: Saturday, November 13, 2010, at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Binford, ND. Visitation: Friday, November 12, 2010, from 5-7 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Burial: Trinity Cemetery, Binford, ND.
