Helen Rosendahl

Helen Rosendahl, 83, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo. Helen Elizabeth Gilbertson was born May 30, 1926, at Fargo, North Dakota, daughter of Elmer and Mildred (Oxton) Gilbertson. She grew up in Finley, North Dakota, and graduated from Finley High School. She attended Interstate Business College in Fargo. She married James Rosendahl in Finley, North Dakota. Besides being a mother and housewife, she worked as a Secretary at Fargo Rotary and Electric Utility Supply Co and Faith United Methodist Church. She was active in the VFW Auxillary and American Legion Auxillary and was a life member of the American Legion Auxillary in Finley, North Dakota. She loved volunteering and singing in the choir at Faith United Methodist Church in Fargo. She is survived by three sons, Terry (Denise) Rosendahl, Sebastopol, CA; Tim (Lisa) Rosendahl, Orlando, FL; and Tom (Brenda) Rosendahl, Grand Forks, ND; a brother, Russell (Barbara) Gilbertson, Finley, ND; two sisters, Gail (Larry) Ritchey, St. College, PA; Andrea (David) VanBerkom, Powers Lake, ND; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at 11:00 AM, at Faith United Methodist Church, 909 19th Ave N., Fargo, ND. Visitation: Tuesday, July 28, 2009, from 5-7 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, 215 S. 7th St, Fargo, ND. Prayer Service: Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at 6:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
