Helen Grace Mastroianna

Helen Grace Mastroianna, age 97, of Fargo, passed away on August 15, 2021, at Ecumen Evergreens of Fargo. Helen was born on January 7, 1924, to Anders and Clara (Nelson) Norstebon in Portland, North Dakota, where she grew up on the farm and graduated from Portland High School. After leaving home, she settled in Denver, Colorado, where she worked in a factory and met her husband-to-be. Helen married Jerry S. Mastroianna on April 10, 1946. They lived in Denver for a short time before making their home in Fargo, where they raised their family.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Lloyd, Robert, and Willard and her sister Doris Larson; and by her husband Jerry.

Helen is survived by her sons David (Jane), Stuart (Ollie), and Joel (Janell); grandsons Mark (Jasmine) and James (Valerie); and great-grandchildren Jaselle, Gia, Logan, and Blake.

At Helen's request, there will be no funeral service. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
