Harold Lloyd Brekke, 84, of Fargo, North Dakota died Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. Harold was born on June 15, 1937 to Lloyd and Gladys (Harmon) Brekke in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Harold grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High School. He married Connie Holto in Fargo, ND where they raised their children, Kevin, Kathy, Kris and Kent. Harold served his country in the United States Navy for several years. After his military service he returned to Fargo and went to work for T.F. Powers Construction Company as a superintendent for 25 years. He then started his own company, “Harold’s Construction”, which he owned and operated for another 25 years. Harold loved sports, construction, socializing, coaching, and spending time with family and friends.

Harold is survived by his children, Kevin, Kris and Kent (Michelle), all of Fargo, ND, and Kathy Brekke, of Kirkland, Washington; his siblings, John (Jean) Brekke and Betty Christianson of Fargo; Mavis Madsen of West Fargo; along with nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Gladys Brekke.
