Surrounded by members of his loving family, Hans Jorgen Freiesleben went to be with his Lord on December 27, 2016.
Hans Jorgen Freiesleben was born March 10, 1959 in Copenhagen, Denmark to Henning and Elsa (Aas) Freiesleben. On December 27th that same year, Hans emigrated with his family to the USA and lived in Minneapolis for 9 months. His family moved to Fargo, ND in October of 1960 where Hans grew up with his older brother Paul and a younger sister Annette. He graduated from North High School in 1977. Hans was active in sports and played football for the North High Spartans.
After high school, Hans was trained as a carpet and flooring installer, and later owned his own business. Hans later joined the family's music business selling pianos and organs. In 1980 Hans married Linnea Thiel. They were blessed with two sons, Joshua and Jason. In 1984 Hans moved his family to Tampa Bay, Florida, joining the country's largest organ dealership. With his enthusiasm and natural sales talent, he soon rose in the ranks of the company, and reached the position of National Vice President of Sales. In 2000 Hans married Brenda Newell. Hans returned to Fargo, ND in 2009, where he continued his career in advertising sales. Hans loved being with family and friends, and his warm and enthusiastic personality was loved by everyone who knew him.
Hans was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father-in-law, Robert Thiel.
