Gregory M. Hoeltl

Gregory M. Hoeltl, 64 of Fargo formerly of Devils Lake ND passed away at Sanford Health of Fargo on Friday May 8, 2020.
A service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Devils Lake ND beginning at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Suelzle.
Gregory Matthew Hoeltl was born on March 14, 1956 in Cando ND, son of John Hoeltl and Betty (Hager) Abercrombie. At a young age he moved to Devils Lake ND, attended Devils Lake Public Schools and lived in the Lake Region for a majority of his life. He married Yvonne Olson on March 14 1980 with whom he had two sons, Christopher & Matthew. He had a third son, Dusty Kirkeby. He later moved to Fargo ND.
Gregory is survived by sisters, Jackie Spychalla and Patty Johnson of Devils Lake, Rita (Dave) Calderon of Portland, TX, brothers, Richard of Devils Lake and Harry Dale Abercrombie of Fargo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Betty, step father, Harry Abercrombie, and brother in laws, James Detert and Ronald Johnson.
