Gloria Ann Annear, age 76 passed away in her home on Sunday, July 12, 2015 under the care of Hospice with her family by her side.
Gloria Moser was born on October 3, 1938 in Grand Forks, ND to Theodore and Rose Moser where she graduated from Grand Forks Central in 1956 and UND School of Nursing in 1960. She was later united in marriage to Gary Annear in Grand Forks.
Early in her career she worked at St. Michael’s hospital in Grand Forks as an RN and then later she taught ceramic classes for 34 years in her home in Fargo. Gloria loved to entertain, cook, and decorate and was very talented at all of these. Gary and Gloria spent 29 consecutive winters vacationing in Mexico. She felt very fortunate to have all of her children and grandchildren living in Fargo so she was able to spend a lot of time with all of them. She will truly be missed by her family and Friday night friends at the Speedway Restaurant and Saturday night friends at the Bowler.
She is survived by her husband Gary Annear, daughters Pam Annear, Debbie (Daryl) Helbling, and son Jim Annear. Grandchildren, Nick (Brie) and Mitch (Kayla) Taralson, Nykki Helbling, and Riley Annear. She also is survived her sisters Phyllis Hagen, Delores (Punky) Olson, Linda Berns, and brother Ted Moser.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brother-in-laws.
The family wishes to thank everyone who cared for Gloria over the past couple of years, including Hospice, Home Instead Staff, and especially Michelle Boyer who was her main caregiver this past year.
