Gladys Ann (Ellingson) Kile was born November 16, 1934, in rural Fargo, ND, to parents Theodore and Minnie Ellingson. She attended and graduated from Moorhead High School. Gladys was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she married Clayton Kile in March of 1965.
Gladys enjoyed embroidery and word search puzzles. She also loved to bake, especially chocolate chip cookies, and loved visiting with family and friends. She always welcomed a visit from her grandchildren and was happy to spend time with them. Gladys had a generous heart and found great pleasure in helping people whenever she could.
Gladys died Sunday, September 2, 2012, at Bethany Homes in Fargo.
She will be greatly missed by her son Lee (Alicia) Kile; daughter Cynthia (Kelly Hostetter) Kile, and grandchildren Leah, Katelyn, and Tiffany.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clayton; four brothers Jerome, Ken, Warren, and Ed; and seven sisters Katherine, Lil, Evie, Florence, Eda, Vee, and Margaret.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, September 7, at 10am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN.
Burial will take place at Osterdalen Cemetery in Harwood, ND.
