Ginger Klitzke

Ginger Klitzke, 57, died Sunday morning June 10, 2007, in her home, under the care of hospice and her husband, Alan. Ginger Rae Shaleen was born November 19, 1949, in Fargo, ND. Ginger grew up in Fargo and the Turtle Lake area. Before working for and retiring from Qwest Communications, she did upholstery around the Turtle Lake and Fargo areas with her beloved father, Buck. Prior to and after her retirement, Ginger enjoyed her grandchildren and traveling to the southwest, where she and Alan bought a second home in Apache Junction, AZ., so she could enjoy her mountain trail walks. Ginger was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jesse Irene (Van Erem) Shaleen; her father, William John (“Buck”) Shaleen; infant son, Paul Duane Ness; and her brother, Robert John Shaleen. Ginger is survived by her husband, Alan Klitzke, Fargo, ND; three sons, Duane Orris Ness, St. Paul, MN; Matt and Sean Graber, Fargo, ND; daughter, Paula Jean Ness, Fargo, ND; step-children, John Alan Klitzke, D.C., Apache Jct. AZ; and Theresa Marie Zinniel, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Kenneth Russ Jr., Fargo, ND; William Russ, Maplewood, MN; Tara Loberg, Grand Forks, ND; and Alyssa Harland, Christine, ND; step-grandchildren, Tayler Klitzke, Teagan Zinniel, Grant and Bailey Klitzke. Funeral service: Thursday, June 14, 2007, at 11:00AM, at Park Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake, MN. Visitation: Wednesday, June 13, 2007, from 4-6:30 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Prayer Service: Wednesday, at 6:30 PM, at the funeral home. Burial: Park Lutheran Church Cemetery. Directions to church: Take Hwy 10 to Becker Cty. 1, go south approx. 8 miles until you see the sign for Park Lutheran Church, go west approx. 2 miles.
