Gerald D. Kuehl

Gerald D. Kuehl, 77, of Fargo, ND died October 30, 2012 in his home.

Gerald Duane Kuehl was born January 1, 1935, in Fargo, North Dakota, son of Hans and Millie (Buth) Kuehl. He grew up in Moorhead, Minnesota and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1954. Gerald served in the United States Air Force from 1955-1958.

Gerald married Harriet Thompson on May 5, 1961, in Fargo, ND.

He worked for the Fargo Forum newspaper in the mailroom until his retirement in 2000. Gerald enjoyed watching football, baseball, basketball and working on carpentry projects.

Gerald is survived by his daughter, Deborah Kuehl, Fargo, ND; two sisters, Luella Halbjorhus, Westminster, CA; Geneva Plummer, Moorhead, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Harriet (2010); two daughters, Kimberly Kuehl (2003); Diane McGlynn (2005); three brothers, LeRoy, Wilbert and Virgil; and sister Marcella Leach.
