“Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on, that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.” Revelation 14:13

Jerry began his employment at UPS in 1981. He would go on to work for UPS in various positions and capacities for the rest of his life. Jerry married his wife, Ruth (Reimnitz), in 1985. Jerry and Ruth settled in Fargo, ND, and raised a family of four. Jerry was an avid hunter and was passionate about gun safety, which led him to teach hunter’s safety courses for many years.
Jerry loved spending time with his family, which inspired many activities, including coaching his children’s t-ball, baseball, and softball teams. Jerry also strongly believed that faith and church were among the most important things in this life. He volunteered on several boards and for many events and activities for the churches he attended throughout his life. Jerry loved to make people laugh and is remembered by many for his sense of humor, stories, jokes, and pranks. Jerry suffered cardiac arrest and passed away in the small hours of August 4th, 2023, at 63 years of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary (Wells) and her child, and grandson David (Ferguson).
