Gene Smith, 86, of Fargo, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in his home, under the care of his family, Hospice of the Red River Valley, and the Veteran’s Administration.
A private family service will be held with interment at Riverside Cemetery in Fargo.
Gene was a career fireman with the Fargo Fire Department. He also worked with Smithco Construction.
Gene is survived by his wife, Dolly; son, Dan (Amy) Smith, Fargo, ND; daughters, Lisa (Terry) Saeger, Potomac Falls, VA; Leslie (Barry) LaBine, St. Cloud, MN; grandchildren, Ian Saeger, Boston, MA; Hannah Saeger, Potomac Falls, VA; and Sam, Max, and Ava LaBine, St. Cloud, MN.
