Gail Hook, 77, of Fargo, died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN. Gail H. Hook was born August 14, 1931 in Edmore, ND to Henry and Inga (Strand) Askelson. She grew up and attended school in Edmore. She married Linword Hook on November 5, 1951 in the state of Washington. She worked as a waitress and bartender for many years in Grand Forks, ND. She moved to Fargo in 1990 and lived there ever since. Gail worked part time at Minnesota State University, Moorhead, MN. She is survived by two sons, Walter (Gayle) Hook, Georgia, Steven (Laura) Hook, Kentucky; two daughters, Mary Brooks, Fargo, ND and Teri (Jody) Bortz, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Betty Rogers, Lead, SD and Louise (Nils) Nordin, Calgary, Alberta; six nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Service: Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Burial: Edmore, North Dakota
