Franklin "Frank" Henry Bancroft

Franklin Henry Bancroft passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Bethany on University.

Frank was born on February 18, 1933 to Henry & Ann Bancroft in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from Minneapolis Vocational High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Denver.

Frank managed College Food Services in Tempe, AZ, San Diego, CA & Dillon, MT. In 1963, Frank was appointed Director of Auxiliary Enterprises at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. Frank was instrumental in getting the Meals on Wheels Program started for the Senior Centers in Fargo, now serving 150,000 meals a year. He retired in June of 1995. Frank married Phyllis Knalson & they had 2 children; Marc, Fargo & Michelle, Aurora, CO.

Frank married Jayne Tweiten Klostermeier in 1988. They resided in Fargo, ND, Hackensack, MN and Yuma, AZ. They now recently reside at 101 South University Drive, #G-11, Fargo, ND 58103.
Frank is survived by his wife Jayne; his son Marc Bancroft, Fargo; his daughter Michelle (David) Perry of Aurora, CO; his grandson Drew Perry, Ft. Collins, CO; his granddaughter Sarah Bennett (Tylor), Fargo, ND; stepsons Korey (Janice) Klostermeier, West Hollywood, CA; Kelly Klostermeier, Moorhead, MN.

Frank's parents, Henry & Ann Bancroft and his brothers John and Jim Bancroft preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on July 5, 2016 at Olivet Lutheran Church, 1330 South University Drive, Fargo, ND, at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served.
