Floris Bandvik

Floris H. (Riebe) Bandvik, 96, of Fargo, ND, passed away Friday, October 24, 2008, at ManorCare Health Services, Fargo. Floris was born January 9, 1912 to Frank and Rose (Boyer) Riebe in Wilton, North Dakota. As a young woman she came to Fargo where she met and married John M. Bandvik on January 30, 1935. Floris is survived by three of her children, John (Beverly) Bandvik of Albany, CA; daughters, Joan (Craig) Cowgill, Roseburg, OR; and Elizabeth Bandvik, Fargo, ND; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; son, Albert; her parents; brothers, David and Albert Riebe; sister-in-law, Ella Riebe; and foster sister, Delane Milligan. The family wishes to thank those that cared for Mom at ManorCare Health Services and Hospice of the Red River Valley. Memorials preferred to Grace Lutheran Church. Funeral Service: Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at 10 AM, at Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
